Course Contents
Turkish folklore sources. Turkish folklore studies: history, staffing, work plan, samples, methods of field survey of Turkish folklore. Problems of Turkish folklore studies. The main features of the Anatolian-Turkish personality and character. Turkey, from cradle to grave / transition periods. Holidays in the Turkish culture. Turkish culture, beliefs and customs rules. Turkish culture to influence the laws of nature. Games in the Turkish culture. public knowledge: folk medicine, folk veterinary, public calendars, public meteoroljisi, public measures, folk cuisine etc.
