Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University holds every year several seminars, panel discussions, exhibitions, cultural tours, nature walks, spring festivals, concerts and social activities which foster the vocational and social interests of our students. Therefore, as of 2011-2012 academic year, “Scientific & Cultural Activities” course, which includes the social, artistic and cultural activities of our students, is now available on the curriculum in the university.
Besides, there are many clubs which help students foster their interest and knowledge in many different fields. These clubs encourage various activities and social responsibility projects in which their members can take part.
Moreover, nature walks throughout every year are organized by NEVKAM (Kapadokya Research & Practice Center of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University) so that the students and staff appreciate the natural, historical and cultural beauties of the region. In addition, Continuing Research & Practice Center of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University organizes various extra-curricular courses and certification programs for students that help them build their skills in several fields.
Among the sports facilities that Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University offers their students are tennis courts, football, basketball, volleyball pitches and a gym. Besides, the university has challenging teams competing in the fields of boxing, Taekwondo, Folk dancing, football and volleyball.
