Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University has 2 kitchens, one being on the main campus, the other in the Hotel of Nevşehir University in Ürgüp. The food prepared for both staff and students in the main kitchen is offered in the cafeteria on the central campus while the one prepared in Ürgüp is delivered to the other cafeterias on the other campuses. There is a team of 40 people, among whom, 1 branch manager, 1 food inspector, 3 permanent cooks, 1 warehouse person, 1 official in charge of purchase, waiters and stewards. The food is delivered to the other cafeterias in thermo boxes. Moreover, in order to ensure the continuity of the quality service, a specimen of a food prepared in these kitchens is delivered every month to the Kayseri Provincial Control Laboratory accredited by TÜRKAK under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
A four-dish meal in the student cafeteria of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University is in a adequate price. There are some more cafeterias except for that of the university. Additionally, there are more cafeterias outside the campus.
