Objectives of the Course
Focusing on Greek Mythology, the course provides information on classical Mythology. Throughout the course, students learn the names and characteristics of the main mythical figures and characters,the ideas of the society in which myths lives in, raising awareness towards the traditions and imaginations of individuals. It also aims to help learners in understanding the natures and the social function of the myths. The course underlines the importance of the Western literary, popular culture, and art in the other branches (such as painting and sculpture).
