Objectives of the Course
At the end of this course students are expected to be competent on explaining the basic concepts of international economics, growth of international trade, aims and tools of foreign trade policies, the role of GATT and World Trade Organization in the global trade. And grasping the exchance market and its importance for acountry.

PO-2 Identify foreign trade-related problems, consider alternatives, and reach a conclusion based on logical analysis.
PO-3 Operate foreign trade transactions,and conduct import and export operations.

International Economics and Globalization, Theories of international trade:Adam Smith,David Ricardo,Hecksher-Ohlin and incompetitive models, International trade policies,aims and tools, tariffs and barriers, developments in the international trade, The world trade organization, economic integration, The European Union and Turkey, exchange markets, ballance of payments.
