Objectives of the Course
At the end of this course students are expected to be competent on explaining the basic concepts and processes of new economy and e-trade.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Define basic concepts of e-trade. PO-3 Operate foreign trade transactions,and conduct import and export operations.
PO-5 Evaluate customs union agreements, customs regulations, foreign exchange regulations, import and export legistation.
PO-9 Use basic communication and information technologies in accordance with computer software that is required by the department at least European Computer Operating Licence basic level
Examination
LO-2 Explain the functions of e-trade. PO-1 Apply the basic skills and concepts of foreign trade, economics, business management, marketing, customs and accounting techniques .
PO-2 Identify foreign trade-related problems, consider alternatives, and reach a conclusion based on logical analysis.
PO-3 Operate foreign trade transactions,and conduct import and export operations.
PO-9 Use basic communication and information technologies in accordance with computer software that is required by the department at least European Computer Operating Licence basic level
Examination
LO-3 Identify the benefits and costs of alternative sources of e-trade finace. PO-3 Operate foreign trade transactions,and conduct import and export operations.
PO-4 Demonstrate the ability to organize and present foreign trade-related information in written reports
PO-5 Evaluate customs union agreements, customs regulations, foreign exchange regulations, import and export legistation.
PO-6 Apply foreign trade accounting and finance concepts and practices in business environments.
Examination
LO-4 Manage an e-commerce site preparation process. PO-2 Identify foreign trade-related problems, consider alternatives, and reach a conclusion based on logical analysis.
PO-3 Operate foreign trade transactions,and conduct import and export operations.
PO-9 Use basic communication and information technologies in accordance with computer software that is required by the department at least European Computer Operating Licence basic level
PO-10 Transmit acquired knowledge and skills related to the foreign trade department both in written and orally to the concerned.
