Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide the students with an understanding of the historical development, aesthetic background and sources of Old Turkish Literature and to give information about the internal and external structure of poetry in Old Turkish Literature.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Learns poetry genres and literary arts in Old Turkish Literature PO-1 Turkish language to present the first written documents in chronological order from the circuit, together with their knows.
PO-6 Old Turkish Literature, in verse and prose works in Arabic script reads, explains.
PO-9 Makes the literary text analysis.
PO-14 Participate in studies related to the field.
PO-20 Related to the field of social, cultural and artistic activities, participates in and organizes.
PO-22 In the field of humanities, social, cultural supports the universality of rights, social justice gains consciousness, historical and cultural heritage interest.
