Objectives of the Course
Understand the Turkish folk literature outlines the basic concepts and source of his works.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 The basic concepts of Turkish Folk Literature may define. PO-1 Turkish language to present the first written documents in chronological order from the circuit, together with their knows.
PO-4 Collects the necessary data for solving the problems identified.
PO-5 The results of the reviews according to the data.

LO-2 Folk Literature may have knowledge about basic oral and written sources. PO-2 The province of the People's literature and culture-related issues are going to have the necessary information and knowledge.

Course Contents
Basic concepts related to the Turkish folk literature, the works of Turkish literature and the major figures and works of folkloric elements (Orkhon Inscriptions, Mahmud of Kashgar and the Diwan Lughat at-Turk, Yusuf Has Hâcib and Kutadgu Bilig, Ali Shir Nevai, Evliya Celebi, and Travelogues etc.) will be examined.
