To understade Mythical belief in the Turkish and system of thought.

Course Contents
Examined by explaining the basic concepts related to Mythology the origins of beliefs, structure and functions, relationship between mythology and the other sciences, Elements of Turkish mythology, sample texts (In Bektashism and Turkish mythology sacred numbers, Religious mythology of the ancient Turkish, Buddhist mythology of the Turks, Turks Maniheist mythology, epics of Creation: Yakuts, Lebed Tatars and Turks from the Altai Turks texts; Doomsday/Legends about the end of the world: Telengit, and the Altai Turks texts Teleüt).
