Objectives of the Course
This subject tells about metal mines of Turkey, industrial raw materials, stone quarries, water, gas and other underground natural sources conditions of cration, location and economic importance and contribution to geophysical engineering.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Be able to have information about mining law which directs underground sources managing. PO-9 An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
PO-11 An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.

LO-2 Be able to recognize legal problems and method of getting permission during investigating and managing of underground sources. Course Contents
Explanation of concepts related to the mining law. Who receive mining license? What are conditions that will not able to given? Who receive mining license? What are conditions that will not able to given? What are inheritance or transfer, account? How is applied to get the mining license and discovering right? What permissions need to be taken during the mining operation? Search and concepts of business licenses, technical supervision, audit and controls, rust and turnovers housing, temporary holiday.
