Objectives of the Course
It aims at identifying the basic trends and issues in the view of the historical process of the Turkish sociology, with the basic problematics of contemporary currents, conceptually identifying modern trends such as Postmodernism, Poststructuralism Hermenotik and discussing the views of the leading names of these trends.

Course Contents
In this course which is the continuation of History of Sociology I, the birth of sociology in Turkey, the Turkish sociologists, development of sociology in the course of Turkey's main problem areas and trends, as well as contemporary post-modernism, Post-structuralism and the hermeneutic will be examined.
