Objectives of the Course
The purpose of this course is to supply the basic knowledge and skills in social sciences research methods.

LO-1 Can explain the basic concepts that direct the scientific research methods at the end of this course. PO-1 To have detailed knowledge about a specific profession related to the field of Tourism and to have comprehensive and systematic knowledge about concepts, theories, principles and facts in close disciplines. Course Contents
In this course the basic concepts related to research methods such as science and scientific research definitions, characteristics and objectives of scientific research, phases of the development process of the scientific research method, the activities carried out during the research process, data collection, processing and analysis processes and interpretation of the data, the scientific writing, referencing and analysis methods are discussed.
