Course Contents
This course aims at providing students with a good command of a second language (Russian) which will be necessary in there career life. With four-hour lessons a week, the course will be focused, especially, on teaching students the basic grammatical and lexical competence required in the field of turism. The course comprises of 4 semesters. The content of each semester follows the previous semester.

1 Repetitive lesson. Dative.; Instrumental (Case). С кем вы были в театре? С кем? С чем? Кем? Чем? (With who?) Помогать кому? чему? Мы говорили о ком? о чём? куда? откуда? (Where? From where?); Meeting with young journalists.
2 Future Tense. Perfect and imperfective aspects. что будет делать – что сделает?; Comparative and superlative forms of adjectives. Adjectives and Adverb. Что я буду делать летом? Что я сделаю завтра?; Что лучше? Три медведя (Русская народная сказка) (Three bears- Russian fairy-tale).

4 Compound sentences. Указание (который)(which/that); Compound sentences. Что, чтобы.
5 Compound sentences. Reasons (why?) Purpose (What for? Why?) Conditinals (if…)
6 Compliments. Какие мы? Antonyms “Четыре темперамента” ( Four temperaments) Как мы выглядим?
7 Prepositions в, на, под, над, перед, около Где лежат наши билеты? (Where are our tickets?)

9 Branches of tourism. Expressing which branch of tourism your travel agency is engaged in. Travel agency “Medina” is engaged in beach tourism.
10 How to choose a travel destination? Advices. Giving advices on different types of holiday.
