The general definition of radioactivity. The basic properties of radioactive elements. Alpha, beta and gamma rays. Radioactive minerals and their properties. Radiometric method definition and application areas. Types of radiometric measurements and corrections applied. Radiometric measurements interpretation. Radiation measuring instruments, and gamma spectrometry. |
