Objectives of the Course
To inform students about organic dyes used as a raw material in textile industry and also teach them their usage areas.

Introduction to dyes and light and color, physical and chemical properties of dyes, clasification of dyes, azo, nitro, nitroso, polymetine, arylmethine, aza, carbonyl and sulfur dyes.
