Objectives of the Course
At the end of this course learners are expected to employ basic foreign trade transactions, operate money, product and document flows and also conduct basic export and import proscedures.

Course Contents
Introduction to foreign trade, historical development, basic concepts, forms of sales and payment in foreign trade, documents, foreign exchange, import and export transactions and the related applications are discussed: Commercial documents, Transport documents Movement certificates, Other documents, E and F Group Incoterms, C Group Incoterms, D Group Incoterms, Advance Payment, Cash Against Goods, Cash Against Documents, Acceptance credits, Letter of Credits.
