Objectives of the Course
Providing the basic concepts of computer system, operating system, internet and office application programs (MS Word, Powerpoint) at a basic level.

Course Contents
History and development of the computer, basic computer concepts, Email and internet usage, hardware and software concepts, software types, operating systems and introduction of the Windows operating system interface, Introducing and running the ready-made programs that come with Windows, Midterm exam, Use of Word word processing program, Use of Powerpoint presentation software, Final Exam.
