Objectives of the Course
The power of understanding, telling, listening, creating through music development, Classical, Baroque, Contemporary, 20th century. it is aimed to contribute to the instrument by playing musical genres. In addition to musical sensitivity, thinking, interpretation and creation skills, it is to gain the ability to understand that music is a common language all over the world. With sample works taken from Turkish and world music, it helps to aim to play correctly according to sound characteristics and performance levels. Musical Ensembles aim to participate in concert events with repertoire.

LO-1 Student can vocalize to pieces classical music PO-4 Have acquired the necessary knowledge on the history of Turkish and Western Music.
PO-5 Can perform basic pieces of music that belong to various periods and require different techniques accompanied by musical instruments and sounds.
PO-8 Plays in music communities and manages them.
PO-14 Analyse the harmonization rules of repertory in polyphony used from time to time and pieces of music created on these rules

LO-3 Öğrenci, Dünya müziklerini eserleriyle seslendirebilir. PO-1 Students who successfully complete the Department of Music and Performing Arts recognize the basic concepts related to their programs
PO-3 Have a basic knowledge of music such as the names, places and values of musical notes, measurement systems, musical signs, arrays and intervals and tonality etc.They are also familiar with the basic rules, techniques and terms of music, able to read musical notes and write what they hear in musical notes.
