Objectives of the Course
The students can explain and comment the Consepts about the course and Ottoman Modernisation movements,Young Ottomans, I.-II. Ottoman Constitutional Periods, Development occured in Europe (Industrial Revolution and French Revolution), World War I and The Partition of The Ottoman Empire, Events after Moudrose Armistice, National Congress, Ottoman Last Parliament And the National Pact, Turkish National Assambly, The National Struggle1921-1922, Turkish Foreign Policy in National Struggle, Mudanya Armistice, Lousanne Peace Agreement.

1 The aim of the Atatürk’s Revolutions and Principles History Course and Giving basic concepts about the course and strategy of Turkish Revolution. oral expression, question and answer, discussion
2 Collapse of Ottoman State and a view to reasons for Turkish Revolutions (Intrinsic reasons, extrinsic reasons, geopolitical location of Ottoman State and its economic position)
3 Renovation acts in Ottoman State in XIX. century (eras of Tanzimat, Renovation and I. Constitutional Monarchy)
4 Intrinsic and extrinsic incidents during the dispersion of Ottoman State (Kırım War, 1877-78 Ottoman-Russia War, incident of Maccedonia, 31th of March incident, losing Girit and Bosnia-Hersek, Trablusgarp War, Balkan Wars.
5 Thought trend during the last period of Ottoman State (Ottomanism, Islamism, Turkism, Westism, humanism, Socialism) and II. Meşrutiyetin sürecinde Ottoman State
6 WWI(start of the war, entrance of Ottoman State, sides and end of War) and signing Mondros treatment.
7 Invasions, Reactions (occurance of Kuva-yı Milliye), Associations (National, enemy to National Existance and Minority), after the Mondros treatment actions of Mustafa Kemal Pasha and his going to Anatolia.

12 San Remo Conference, Sevr Treatment, issue of Armenia and Kurdisthan in Sevr, current threats from Sevr, situaitons on the sides of East and South
13 Purification of Kuva-yı Milliye and establishment of regular army, attack of Greece and wars is the west side.
14 Mustafa Kemal’s being supreme command, commands of Tekâlif-i Milliye, Sakarya War and development of foreign policy after it (Turkish-Russsian, Turkish-Afhgan relations, London Conference, Ankara Agreement)
15 Grand Attack and signing the Mudanya Armistice, developments before Lozan conference, meeting of the conference and signing the peace agreement.
