Objectives of the Course
To teach the history of the Umayyad and Abbasid

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can explain the history of the Islamic Umayyad period. PO-1 able to conceptualize historical events and phenomenons with scientific methods and techniques by expert appraisal.
PO-3 able to define the information acquired at the level of expertise, evaluate critically and analyze the information obtained
PO-4 able to access to historical datas, interpret these datas and assess the reliability and validity of these datas.
PO-6 able to develop applicable materials in the area of history
PO-10 able to establish oral and written communication in a foreign language on a B2 level of European Language Portfolio.
PO-12 able to develop customs suitable for democracy, human rights and scientific and professional ethics.
Examination
LO-2 explain the history of the Islamic Abbasid period. PO-1 able to conceptualize historical events and phenomenons with scientific methods and techniques by expert appraisal.
