Objectives of the Course
This course aimr to provide the main concepts of economics and to analyse relationship between micro-economic units.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 the students can analyse the economical analysis by learning the main concepts of economics PO-13 To be able to abide by social, scientific, cultural, and ethical values regarding the collection, interpretation and propagation of data related to international relations.
Examination
LO-2 can state the basic terms and the behaviors of the consumers. PO-17 become skilful at maths, econometrics and statistics, making more effective decisions with econometric and statistical analysis. Furthermore, they are capable of predicting the outcomes of these decisions and interpreting the cause and effect relation.
Examination
LO-3 Can explain production, costs and firm's behaviors. PO-11 To be able to develop a positive attitude towards lifelong learning.
Examination
LO-4 S/he learns the general economic theories and uses these theories to understand the economy and to interpret the current issues. PO-7 To be able to monitor developments using a foreign language at B1 level.

The definition, scope and method of Economics and its relations with other disciplines in Social Sciences, fundamental economic concepts and systems, market and price mechanisms, supply, demand and production functions, the theory and balance of producer and consumer.
