Objectives of the Course
The main objectives of this lesson are understanding of statistics terms and their application facilities;composing of numerical data ,deciding in an uncertainty circumstance and interpreting them in a logical way, determining which data analysis techniques should be used in certain conditions and revealing why and how are these techniques are used

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can use and apply the measures of central tendency and variation PO-1 To be able to explain the concepts/theories of International Relations.
PO-17 become skilful at maths, econometrics and statistics, making more effective decisions with econometric and statistical analysis. Furthermore, they are capable of predicting the outcomes of these decisions and interpreting the cause and effect relation.
Examination
LO-2 Can use statistical analysis techniques in social research. PO-13 To be able to abide by social, scientific, cultural, and ethical values regarding the collection, interpretation and propagation of data related to international relations.

Data Collection and Measurement Tools in Social Sciences, Statistics, Probability, Discrete and Continuous Random Variables, Probability Distributions, Central Dispersion and Dispersion Measurements, Sampling and Sampling Distributions, Statistical Series and Graphical Methods in Data Presentation Probability, Sampling, Statistical Estimation, Hypothesis Testing, Hypothesis Testing and Interpretation.
