Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with information about basic concepts such as debt, liability and freedom of contract in the Turkish Code of Obligations. The aim is to examine legal action, tort and unjust enrichment as the sources of the debt relationship, and also to learn the institutions and concepts of the law of obligations such as joint liability, contingent debt and sanction of breach of contract.

LO-1 Be able to differentatie obligation, liability, legal transactions and contacts PO-18 In addition to basic law knowledge, she/he has a minimum level of knowledge of the law of obligations, commercial law, insurance law, capital market law, and the law of commercial paper.

Course Contents
This course; It contains basic information about the concepts and institutions of debt, liability, freedom of contract, prohibited transactions and legal transactions, tort and unjust enrichment as sources of debt in the Turkish Code of Obligations. In addition, information on law of obligations issues such as joint liability, contingent debt and the effect of debts on third parties are also within the scope of this course.
