Objectives of the Course
Students learn about the fundamentals of insurance, relevant technical terms and their practical usage. The contents of this course is crucial in providing a basis for the upcoming courses in insurance and helps the student to understand the insurance system and the applied work flow in the insurance sector.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can learn about the fundamentals of insurance, relevant technical terms and their practical usage. PO-14 Have the ability on considering the basic items of money, banking, and financial systems and the treatment process of these items.
PO-16 Have the theoretical and practical level of knowledge necessary to analyze how decision units, consumers, and companies in an economy make decisions and how they affect each other in the market.
Examination
LO-2 Can provide insurance sector and with the system and the technical functioning of the system. PO-14 Have the ability on considering the basic items of money, banking, and financial systems and the treatment process of these items.
PO-16 Have the theoretical and practical level of knowledge necessary to analyze how decision units, consumers, and companies in an economy make decisions and how they affect each other in the market.
Examination
LO-3 Can explain the legal infrastructure of the insurance sector. PO-2 Understand and explain the basic concepts in various fields of finance like banking, foreign trade, factoring, leasing operations, financial markets, and stock exchange operations, risk management, credit management, and corporate finance.
PO-16 Have the theoretical and practical level of knowledge necessary to analyze how decision units, consumers, and companies in an economy make decisions and how they affect each other in the market.
