Objectives of the Course
Banking law is generally the basic source of persons practicing on banking cases. Because of the importance of banking legislation, the course aims to help students learn the banking law which determines the principles concerning banks' organization, management, operation, acquisition, merger, liquidation and supervision.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the purpose, principles, rules and systematics of banking law. In this context, can distunguish has the knowledge to distinguish the specific conditions required for the establishment of banks in addition to the the provisions of the Code of Commerce PO-2 Understand and explain the basic concepts in various fields of finance like banking, foreign trade, factoring, leasing operations, financial markets, and stock exchange operations, risk management, credit management, and corporate finance.
PO-5 Have sufficient knowledge about national/international financial markets and institutions and can follow the changes and innovations in these areas.
Examination
LO-2 Can classify banks according to their qualifications, types and subjects and evaluates them PO-2 Understand and explain the basic concepts in various fields of finance like banking, foreign trade, factoring, leasing operations, financial markets, and stock exchange operations, risk management, credit management, and corporate finance.
PO-5 Have sufficient knowledge about national/international financial markets and institutions and can follow the changes and innovations in these areas.

LO-3 Can evaluate banking operations, organization and agreements, learns the provisions applicable to contratcs, their order of application and the general principles and concepts and apply them to specific banking cases PO-2 Understand and explain the basic concepts in various fields of finance like banking, foreign trade, factoring, leasing operations, financial markets, and stock exchange operations, risk management, credit management, and corporate finance.
PO-5 Have sufficient knowledge about national/international financial markets and institutions and can follow the changes and innovations in these areas.
PO-14 Have the ability on considering the basic items of money, banking, and financial systems and the treatment process of these items.

Course Contents
Banking Law course includes those issues: organization and to start operations of banks under banking legislation, banking activities, credit transactions, deposit transactions, control and safety of banks.
