Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach students the English terminology of Economics and Business and advanced translation skills.Students taking this course are expected to be able to read and understand English sources and academic publishings in their field.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can practise advanced translation rules PO-20 Have lifelong learning behavior, high communication skills, initiative, the ability of analytical and critical thinking and solving the problem and tend to teamwork and to able to use Turkish and Professional foreign language in written and oral communication to own expression and represent institutions
PO-23 Develops his/her skills in art and sports.
PO-24 Has the competence to question information within the framework of scientific thinking, open to world cultures, respectful to different beliefs, thoughts, and lifestyles.
Examination
LO-2 Can use Business and Economics terminology at advanced level PO-12 Understand and comprehend market research, information systems, consumer behaviors, strategic marketing, global markets, product and service strategies, product life curve, pricing and supply chain in the points of providing continuity of businesses in the process of globalization.
PO-14 Have the ability on considering the basic items of money, banking, and financial systems and the treatment process of these items.
PO-15 Gains knowledge of basic concepts and economic indicators in economic issues.
Examination
LO-3 Can improve level of English reading. PO-10 Have the ability to explain and analyze.processes, theories and concepts related to business management, strategic management, human resource management, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship and ethics.
PO-15 Gains knowledge of basic concepts and economic indicators in economic issues.
