Objectives of the Course
The purpose of this course is to give information about the basic principles and skills in orthopedic and occupational therapy of rheumatic diseases.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 In general, defines the problems and the mechanisms of the problems that cause functional impairment in musculoskeletal system. PO-5 Knows the basic features about occupational therapy.
PO-16 Evaluate the information and qualifications gained in the study field critically.

LO-2 Defines the general terms of performance and attendance problems and clinical picture that emerged after injuries of the musculoskeletal system. PO-5 Knows the basic features about occupational therapy.

Course Contents
The basic principles and skill of occupational therapy in orthopedic and rheumatic diseases; the role of occupationall therapy in rehabilitation of orthopedic and rheumatic diseases; evauation of patients with orthopedic and rheumatis diseases in terms of the occupational therapy; treatment planning, and clinical applications are covered in this course.
