Objectives of the Course
The purpose of the course is to provide the student with essential information on cultural, socio-economic and political characteristics of the countries of Africa, focusing on the sub-saharan part of the countries and with regard to their implications for the business environment.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can explain the cultural, socio-economic and political dynamics of African people and countries, in order to assess the business opportunities for this region. PO-2 To be able to discuss the political, social and economic causes and results of the transformations experienced in a society or a government.
PO-6 To be able to identify their own learning needs and direct the learning.
PO-7 To be able to monitor developments using a foreign language at B1 level.

LO-2 can analyze the geo-political and geo-strategic importance of the Afican countries in international politics PO-6 To be able to identify their own learning needs and direct the learning.
