Objectives of the Course
This course is designed to present an introduction to the general concept of Gymnospermae. To acquaint students with principal conifer species, their distribution, ecological features and its wood and/or non-wood product

Taxonomic levels and general taxonomy of Gymnosperm, history of Conifers, Morphological characteristics (vegetative and generative organs) , wood anatomical traits, distributions of taxa native in Turkey or not, usage of wood and non-wood products of conifers and their usage in Landscape architectur
