Objectives of the Course
The role of landscape plants in design, functional and aesthetic design principles and application examples, the relation of design elements such as shape, size, texture and color with plants, the use of these elements in accordance with design principles, visual, motion, climate and pollution controls that can be obtained with plants in open spaces.

LO-1 can understand the importance of plant design in the process of landscape design. PO-1 To be able to make landscape planning, design and application on the basis of sustainability using knowledge and skills related to basic design and planning in the field

Herbal design and other features of the visual arts branches. Visual features and design potential of plants. Ecological durability, aesthetic and composition characteristics of plants. Design features of plants: line, form, texture and color. Composition options. Examination of designers of plants.
