Objectives of the Course | |||||
Anatolia lived, From the middle of the 6th century BC onwawar almost 200 years, under the Pesian hagemony. The aim of this course is to explain the reasons and consequences of important historical events such as Persian-Greek relations, Ionian revolution and Great Satrap revolt. |

Troughout the entire archaic period, the Western Anatolian cities managed by the Tyranes began to make themselves felt in every field, with the commercial activities in which they were actively involved. This period is called The Golden Age of the Ionia.As a result of the positive policies of the Lydian kings, the Hellenic cities in Western Anatolia continued their development until the mid-6th century BC.When the Persian king Kyros ended the kingdom of Lydia, Anatolia had been under Persian rule for nearly 200 centuries. It is aimed to examine the political, economic and artistic life in the Archaic and Classical period in the context of the causes and consequences of such important historical events such as Persian-Greek-Anatolian relations, Ionian Revolution, Great Satrap Revolt. | ||
