Objectives of the Course
Analyzing the archeology of the Geometric and Archaic Periods in the light of archaeological data.

Examination
LO-2 Protogeometric, Geometric and Archaic Period architectural structures; Have information about the Archaic Period urban textures. PO-1 Know the basic terms related to Archaeology programme

PO-4 Apply archaeology principles to today’s problems of the world
PO-5 Make connections between theories and methods related to archaeology
Examination
LO-3 can learn about the ceramics produced centere and the vase painters in this period and the development of style, the interactions with other cultures. PO-1 Know the basic terms related to Archaeology programme
PO-2 Collect necessary data to solve problems faced
PO-3 Analyse the data, observe, interpret the results of collected data
PO-7 Establish analytical and critical communication with the other parts of the society in a professional way using oral and written means

LO-4 can learn about Protogeometric and Geometric period small sized figurines, style features, discovery centers and social and economic reasons that play a role in the creation and development of archaic sculpture. PO-1 Know the basic terms related to Archaeology programme

Determining the main lines of the Geometric and Archaic Period archeology, vase painting, and examining the architectural, ceramic, and sculpture artifacts found in the centers of this period in the main continent Greece and Anatolia.
