Objectives of the Course
To make the students to gain the qualifications of electric motors and their working principles, their connection to the circuit and speed control transactions.

LO-1 Know definition of magnetic field, and basic principles of electric motors. PO-34 Have knowledge about new electric motors which are not classical electric motors.

Magnetic fields, magnetic induction, Direct current motors, single-phase alternating current motors, step motors, switched reluctance motors, permanent magnet motors, hysteresis motors, and servo system, and their principles, drivers and speed control methods.
