Course Contents
History of electric vehicles and comparison with traditional vehicles. Energy sources and energy storage devices; Batteries, fuel batteries, high-capacity capacitors. Energy conversion systems, motor types, torque-speed characteristics and control techniques. Basic variables and design software in electric vehicle design. Motion and power control systems in electric vehicles. Electric vehicle models (battery, hybrid and fuel battery).
