Objectives of the Course
To equip students with the information to make sense of scientific reports examining them into linguistic, form and content features and also to be able to make researchs and write sicentific reports to solve the problems in the field, informing students about the importance of scientific thinking in the contemporary world and scientific research methods and stages.

Course Contents
Definitions of science and basic scientific concepts (fact, information,hypothesis, theory, assumption, variable and types of variables etc.), an overview of the history of science, the features of the scientific research, scientific methods from different aspects, problem, scientific research models, techniques for data collecting, qualitative/quantitive research models; analysis and interpretation of data and writing scientific reports.
