Objectives of the Course
The aim of this lesson is to explain family and its characteristics, family life cycle, communication in family, positive and negative parental characteristics, role and importance of family in child development and education, adult education principles, family education programs basic properties in globally and Turkey for preschool teacher students.

Course Contents
Social structure, cultural and social development of the people, the definition of family structure and values of a family-oriented educational programs, models and projects implemented in Turkey, a family-oriented program examples, the definition of adult and adult learning, adult psychology, family theories; family participation in pre-school education
