Objectives of the Course
The objective of the course is to provide a sociological overview of social theories of consumption and the consumer behavior.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can explain the main concepts of the sociology of consumption. PO-1 1. Can understand the basic concepts regarding the sociology programs.
PO-2 2.Can transfer and adapt what they have acquired in the field of Sociology to other disciplines.
PO-3 3. Can develop creative, resourceful in terms of conducting sociological analysis and equipped with the communication and social skills necessary to take part in team work.
Examination
LO-2 Can evaluate the social and cultural determinants of consumption behavior. PO-4 4. Can have the skills to define, model and solve the sociological problems in the field of Sociology and related fields.
PO-5 5. Can dedicate to improve themselves by keeping abreast of the developments in science, technology and modern topics.
PO-6 6. Can assess and evaluate the data making use of the advanced knowledge and skills that they have acquired in the field, to define and analyze the issues connected with current technological developments finding ways to offer solutions to those issues based on the researched and evidence.
Examination
LO-3 Can discuss consumption behavior in accordance with the theories of consumption. PO-8 8. Can collaborate both intra- and interdisciplinarily by planning and managing the activities regarding the development of the members subordinate to them.
PO-10 10. Can have the professional and ethical responsibility in the process of the collection, evaluation and implementation of the data in the field of study and publishing the results.
