Tourism system and the position of special interest tourism in this system, SIT types, Turkey and World implementations of SIT, special interest and general interest difference, evaluation of special interest tourism from an integrative point of view, evaluation of tourism trends in terms of special interest tourism

2 Structural, functional, disciplinary and integrative approaches to tourism, tourism system and tourism elements. Lecture
3 Tourism demand, specifications of tourism demand, consumer behavior, market and market segmentation, demographical, sociological, and psychological factors that makes people participate in tourism activity, tourist typology. Lecture
4 An overall evaluation of Turkey’s external tourism demand, number of tourists, reasons for travel and spending patterns Lecture
5 Tourism supply, specifications of tourism supply, tourism substructure and infrastructure, tourism attractions. Lecture
6 The concept of tourist experience, specifications and cycles, tourism product and product diversification, an overall evaluation of Turkey’s tourism supply. Lecture
