Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is provide information about the basic principles of biotechnology, research methods and biotechnological products. |

PO-1 Obtain basic knowledge of Molecular Biology PO-2 Have information about current topics in molecular biology and genetics PO-3 Ability to identify problems in Molecular Biology and genetics, to establish hypotheses for solving problems and to be able to solve hypothesis using various observational and experimental methods PO-4 Being ethical and responsible individuals who are sensitive to social and universal values in the field of Molecular Biology and genetics, who look after the priority areas of the country, research and produce and contribute to these issues PO-5 Ability to design a research project in the field of molecular biology and genetics and to evaluate and present the results related to it PO-6 Ability to independently carry out an activity that requires expertise in the field PO-7 Investigating the phenotypic effects of genes and acquiring the ability to use this effect in animal and plant breeding areas PO-8 Ability to participate in interdisciplinary studies in the fields of education, industry, agriculture, health, environment, energy and biotechnology PO-9 Recognizes and explains the molecular biology and genetics of the problems of other disciplines PO-10 Read and critically discuss the world-wide literature on molecular biology and molecular genetics PO-11 Explains the basic functions of scientific processes, critically discusses and solves problems using appropriate statistical and computational methods, chooses contemporary experimental and theoretical approaches that will ultimately lead to the solution of molecular biology and genetic research problems PO-12 To be able to transfer current developments and own studies in the field with quantitative and qualitative data to the groups in the field and outside the field in a systematic manner in written, oral and visual form PO-13 Scientific developments contribute to research and development |
