Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills about the causes and consequences of cell death, the methods of cell death pathways and the current test methods used in the determination of cell death mechanisms.

PO-11 Explains the basic functions of scientific processes, critically discusses and solves problems using appropriate statistical and computational methods, chooses contemporary experimental and theoretical approaches that will ultimately lead to the solution of molecular biology and genetic research problems

Cell death patterns, apoptosis, necrosis, autophagy, entosis, anoikis related concepts and processes, genetic and molecular basis of cell death mechanisms, the importance of cell death patterns for the organism, cell death-related diseases, current methods used to determine the types of cell death
