Objectives of the Course
Decision making in its most general form; It is the process by which the decision maker solves a problem by selecting, sorting or classifying among the available options. This course mainly covers how decisions are made and which methods are used.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 To be able to construct and analyze problems by thinking analytically PO-17 Use modern methods and technologies of business administration including analytical thinking and information technology in the first instance.

LO-2 Solving business problems using decision techniques PO-17 Use modern methods and technologies of business administration including analytical thinking and information technology in the first instance.

LO-3 Have knowledge about multi-criteria decision making analysis. PO-12 become skilful at maths, econometrics and statistics, making more effective decisions with econometric and statistical analysis. Furthermore, they are capable of predicting the outcomes of these decisions and interpreting the cause and effect relation.

LO-4 Interpret the results of analysis. PO-13 It helps the students model their decision-making problem about life using the linear programming techniques, solve the simplex and transportation problems and interpret the outcomes in terms of technical and economical.
