Objectives of the Course
To teach that types of structures that need to be protected are not only traditional structures, and that conservation culture is a comprehensive and broad concept and that all architectural products should be evaluated in a common way.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can learns that the concept of conservation in the historical development process as well as historical structures and contemporary architecture products. PO-13 Knowledge has about the aims of conservation, its historical development, the values to be protected and the basic principles of its determination, the evolution of the understanding of conservation, the application terminology and methods of conservation and restoration.

LO-2 Can learns that the methods of documenting contemporary architectural products. PO-42 Learns to document architectural works. Performs drawing of materials and details used in buildings.
PO-51 Gains research competencies.

Course Contents
Detecting contemporary architecture products from Republic Period to the present which should be protected, and defining protection methods, detecting studies that have been carried out.
