Objectives of the Course
Taking into account the factors which affect the capital budgeting decision to teach the stages of investment projects and methods of investment project evaluation.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Learns the basic concepts of investment project valuation. PO-2 have information about basic economic topics and indicators.
PO-11 be able to access, report and evaluate financial data and indicators and interpret them.
PO-19 choose current sources about finance topics in order to collect data and analyze and uses efficiently.

LO-2 Learns the stages of investment project preparation. PO-2 have information about basic economic topics and indicators.
PO-10 command pricing and diversification of financial assets as well as risk management.
PO-11 be able to access, report and evaluate financial data and indicators and interpret them.
Examination
LO-3 Learns to use investment project evaluation methods. PO-5 know basic concepts in various subjects of finance (banking, foreign trade, factoring, leasing operations, financial markets and stock exchange operations, risk manegement, credit management and corporate finance).
PO-11 be able to access, report and evaluate financial data and indicators and interpret them.
PO-18 give managerial decisions by using current finance theories and appropriate financial techniques.

Investment, capital budgeting, the importance of capital budgeting in terms of the country’s economy and firms, factors that affect the investment decision, the stages of investment projects, the methods of investment project evaluation.
