Objectives of the Course
This course aims to create and increase gender awareness towards students from all disciplines. In this context, the course includes the theories of gender inequality, gender and the relationship between the mentioned fields.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Understand the phenomenon of gender. PO-1 1. Can understand the basic concepts regarding the sociology programs.
PO-2 2.Can transfer and adapt what they have acquired in the field of Sociology to other disciplines.
Examination
LO-2 Learn the basic concepts and theories about gender studies. PO-3 3. Can develop creative, resourceful in terms of conducting sociological analysis and equipped with the communication and social skills necessary to take part in team work.
PO-4 4. Can have the skills to define, model and solve the sociological problems in the field of Sociology and related fields.
Oral Examination
LO-3 Learn the methods used in the field of gender studies. PO-6 6. Can assess and evaluate the data making use of the advanced knowledge and skills that they have acquired in the field, to define and analyze the issues connected with current technological developments finding ways to offer solutions to those issues based on the researched and evidence.
PO-10 10. Can have the professional and ethical responsibility in the process of the collection, evaluation and implementation of the data in the field of study and publishing the results.
