Objectives of the Course | |||||
The purpose of this course is to learn importance and place of psychology and specially political psychology in terms of terrorism, political violence and power relations. Examples on theory and pratice of political psychology regarding international conflicts and international cooperation are teached. |

LO-1 | can relate political psychology with security |
PO-1 comprehends the place, the role and the effects of security in international relations. PO-2 comprehends the aims, objectives, types, causes, dynamics, financing of terrorism and its role in international power struggles. PO-3 reanalyzes all time the concept of security, which can gain new meanings within the changing international system, in the spheres of global power struggles. PO-4 develops policies on the methods, techniques and strategies of effective fight against local and global terrorism. PO-5 predicts new security needs that may arise in the direction of global developments and predicts the possible effects of these needs on international relations. PO-6 follows national and international developments on security and terrorism. PO-7 introduces critical approaches to political studies in national and international level abaout the fields of security and terrorism. PO-8 fulfills the various roles that it can take in the pre-service and in-service training activities for the security professionals. PO-9 performs scientific studies on international security and terrorism. |
