Objectives of the Course
To give information about casting and welding processes; to introduce the principles of these methods, the equipment used and their application areas; The aim of this course is to provide the basic calculation information.

Introduction to metal foundry. Place of production in the industry by casting. Casting methods. Sand mold casting. Metal mold casting. Shell casting. Die casting. Continuous casting. Centrifugal casting. Cast with vacuum and gravity effect. Precision casting methods. Recent developments in casting methods, Mechanical bonding and bonding processes, Welding processes, Solid phase bonding, Combining in liquid phase, Gas melting sources, Electric arc sources.
