Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to have technical and professional knowledge in the field of air and sea port security.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can learn definitions about aviation. PO-3 He/She provides security and protection services for persons, institutions and organizations on the basis of authority, duties and responsibilities on legal and institutional basis.
PO-4 He/She takes preventive and judicial security measures against the potential / actual risks for life and property safety during the presentation of security and protection services and, if necessary, initiates correct and effective interventions when necessary.
Examination
LO-2 can comprehend the activities carried out at the airport and the organizations in charge. PO-3 He/She provides security and protection services for persons, institutions and organizations on the basis of authority, duties and responsibilities on legal and institutional basis.
PO-4 He/She takes preventive and judicial security measures against the potential / actual risks for life and property safety during the presentation of security and protection services and, if necessary, initiates correct and effective interventions when necessary.

Course Contents
Definitions used in the safety of Civil Aviation, civil aviation regulations civil aviation related institutions, and private security services in airports, security checkpoints and passenger terminal security systems for the entrance door of the building the human factor in ensuring the security of biometric systems, with regard to ensuring the safety of the ships and the harbor regulations, the code, the definition and importance of ISPS, the harbor of the ISPS Code security plans for the protection of Turkey was prepared and the applications constitute the course content.
