Objectives of the Course
To provide students with the advance skills in the context of scientific research and publication activities and to improve students’ presentation skills and proficiency in using audiovisual appliances.

Course Contents
Students study a specific subject related to their field of study with the guidance of his/her supervisor for the Seminar. Students collect data using scientific methods, report them considering guidelines for thesis writing and present their studies. The content of the Seminar course differs in accordance with the scientific and artistic fields of study. Especially the students of Art Departments conduct one of the seminar courses for each programme as a performance activity related to their fields of study. Seminars do not have local credits and students are qualified as successful or failed. In the event of any failure, Seminar is repeated. If students pass successfully, a copy of the seminar is delivered to the Institutes through the heads of concerning departments.
