Objectives of the Course | |||||
To teach students the formation of institutions, mechanisms of development and to teach the dynamics of change. To make them grasp that institution is an overall pattern of relationships within the organization itself. |

Course Contents | ||
Sociology of Organizations course focuses on social institutions. The dynamics of formation and development of institutions, structures and operations are also examined. In this context, concept and basic features of a sociological perspective, organizations, institutions and construction-phrases the process of formation, institutional change, institutions, functions, relations and interaction between institutions, political institutions: basic concepts and approaches, the political institution functions, sub-agencies relations, economic organization: the basic concepts, the course of development of economic thought, economics, agency functions, socio-economic systems, family institution, religious institution, educational institution, the institution of free time: basic approaches, the increasing importance and functions of the institution of free time, free time, post-industrial societies, globalization and free time will be discussed. | ||
