Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to know the concepts of children's literature and youth literature.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 recognizes important works of childhood and youth literature history. PO-4 An MA student produces new results by combining his fields knowledge with the knowledge he gained from the other fields
Examination
LO-2 can examine the works of childhood and youth literature. PO-5 An MA student brings solutions to problems that require expertiser by using quantitative and qualitative scientific research methods.

Course Contents
This course includes the definition, scope and general characteristics of child and youth literature, making use of literature and folk literature products in mother tongue teaching, fairy tales, epics, legends, fables, riddles and folk poetry, children's stories and novels, children's newspapers and magazines, other children's literature.
